I had never been to Canada before. I had missed my connection on another flight and, in the middle of the chaos, remembered that Will lived in Toronto. Instead of spending the night at the airport, I ended up at his place.

It turned out to be a stroke of luck: he had just gotten his driver's license that same day. So we spent the evening driving around the city, taking the first real look at Toronto together.
